Life evolves, and so should your charitable giving. Whether you’re just starting your philanthropic journey or building a legacy, having a clear plan for your charitable contributions ensures your giving is intentional, impactful, and aligned with your values—today and for years to come.
Why Have a Charitable Plan?
The Power of an Evolving Plan
Your life, passions, and financial circumstances change—and your charitable plan can, too.
Take the First Step
Partner with trusted advisors and your local community foundation to create a plan that grows with you. Together, you can shape a legacy that’s as dynamic as the world around you.
Opening a Legacy Fund is a tax-smart and effective way to ensure that your charitable intentions are followed even when you are not here. It’s like creating a Donor Advised Fund at the time your estate is settled but no assets need to be transferred during your life. By documenting your legacy intent now through a Legacy Fund, the nonprofits of your choice can receive a one-time, multi-year, or endowed gift…or a combination of each as directed by you.
