To Our Community, I’m delighted to send you the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County’s 2024 Annual Report. I hope you’ll take a moment to review it and reflect on everything we accomplished together last year. More than just a look back, this report also offers a sense of hope and possibilities for the future. This annual report highlights CFAAC’s significant community impact in 2024—distributing more than 667 grants that totaled nearly $6 million dollars in funding. We opened an incredible 40 new philanthropic funds and secured six new Legacy Fund commitments. And, we are now managing an extraordinary $41 million in assets intended for grantmaking, exceeding the goal we set for ourselves as we envisioned what success looked like for CFAAC in our 2021-2025 Strategic Plan. While these numbers highlight our progress, they only tell part of the story. The real stories are the people and organizations behind these figures—those who have helped make a real difference in our community. In these pages, you’ll find stories of the generous donors and dedicated nonprofits who continue to make a positive impact through their kindness and hard work.
