Poverty Amidst Plenty VII: Moving Forward Together

CFAAC is pleased to present the 2022 Community Needs Assessment, Poverty Amidst Plenty VII: Moving Forward Together, to the residents of Anne Arundel County. The purpose of this report is to provide an overview of the issues in Anne Arundel County that impact the economy and quality of life.

The report intends to increase knowledge and awareness as well as to frame informed discussions about persistent local trends and needs. It is our goal to assist those interested in continuous improvement with their efforts aimed at strengthening the county. It is also a call to action. This report can be used by nonprofits, community advocates, the faith community, volunteers, business leaders, elected officials, policymakers, government agencies, foundations, individual philanthropists, professional advisors, and others to prioritize and develop strategies and implementation plans with measurable goals that benefit everyone in the county.

Copies of the report are also available for pick-up at our office on October 17, 2022, please call us to arrange a time. CFAAC is located at 900 Bestgate Road, Suite 400, Annapolis, MD 21401. Organizations may obtain one hard copy at no cost. If you would like to obtain more than one hard copy, they are $10 each, payable to CFAAC. There is no limit to digital downloads. You’re Invited! Attend a Presentation and Critical Conversation About Our County's Needs Assessment with Pam Brown, Ph.D.

CFAAC invites everyone to attend one (or all) of the upcoming community needs assessment report presentations by Pamela Brown, Ph.D., the Executive Director of the Anne Arundel County Partnership for Children, Youth and Families. These information sessions are open to the public and will be held at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts on October 14, 9-11 amChesapeake Arts Center on October 24, 2-4 pm; and Anne Arundel Community College on November 14, 6-8 pm.
