September 25 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

Hosted by CFAAC, the Nonprofit Center, and ACDS the FY27 Grant Application Training Series is a two-part program designed to help nonprofits in Anne Arundel County strengthen their grant applications and increase their chances of securing funding. Featuring guidance from grant reviewers, practical tips, and opportunities to explore what makes an application competitive, the series provides both an overview of available grant programs and a deeper dive into what makes proposals stand out.

Part 1: Virtual Webinar

Date: Thursday, September 25, 2025

Time: 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM

Location: Virtual via Zoom

Part 1 is a 90-minute webinar introducing several major grant programs available to nonprofits in Anne Arundel County. Participants will gain insights into each program’s goals, limitations, and timelines and learn how to decide whether or not to apply. This session will also include practical tips from experienced grant reviewers, giving attendees a better understanding of what funders look for in competitive applications.

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to identify key grant opportunities, evaluate whether those grants align with their mission and capacity, and understand the factors that go into a successful decision to apply.
