CFAAC is investing in local nonprofit organizations that are engaged in providing opportunities for low-income county residents to live healthy, vibrant, and successful lives through our grantmaking program, Ladders to SUCCESS. Three $25,000 grants will be awarded in each focus area for a total of six grants and $150,000.

Focus Areas:

Economic Opportunity: Increasing the economic self-sufficiency of low-income Anne Arundel County residents through programs that eliminate barriers to employment and provide workforce training, skill-building, and job placement.

Youth Development: Helping low-income youth in Anne Arundel County succeed in school and life through programs that provide academic advancement and life-skills development.

The 2017 Ladders to SUCCESS Grant Application Cycle will open on Friday, January 27, 2017. Applications are due on Friday, March 31, 2017, by 3:00 pm for both the Economic Opportunity and Youth Development grants. Awards will be announced by Friday, May 26, 2017.
