Congratulations to our very own Director of Gift Planning, John Rodenhausen, for receiving his Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) Certification in December. The course requires successful completion of three classes that took approximately one year to complete.
The American College of Financial Services’ CAP® Program is a graduate-level program that provides specialized knowledge and tools to help participants increase their ability to support clients articulate and advance their highest philanthropic goals for self, family, and society.
The completion of this program enhanced John’s skills so he can better advise families and family businesses on important financial matters, such as business exit planning, estate planning, and gift and legacy planning. By leveraging the latest tools, techniques, and tax-efficient approaches, John maximizes the value of donors’ contributions so that they can continue to be confident that their charitable giving is as impactful as possible while aligning seamlessly with the donor’s values.
