About the Fund

Established in 2026 by the Salinger Family, the Opportunity Through Education Scholarship Fund, a Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County Scholarship, provides financial support to deserving students from Anne Arundel County pursuing education at post-secondary institutions, including colleges, technical programs, and trade schools.

Administered through CFAAC, the Opportunity Through Education Scholarship Fund supports motivated students from Anne Arundel County who demonstrate financial need and a commitment to furthering their education beyond high school. Award amounts vary, and the scholarship may be used toward tuition, books, and essential educational expenses.

The application process is currently in development. Your gift to this endowed fund helps build the foundation for students who are ready to work hard but need financial assistance to get there. Every contribution brings us closer to opening the application and changing the trajectory of a student's life. To stay informed about the application process, contact us directly.
