The Higgs-Smith Endowment Fund for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is a CFAAC Donor Advised Fund established in 2025 to support St. Jude’s mission of advancing cures and prevention strategies for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. In keeping with the vision of its founder, Danny Thomas, St. Jude ensures that no child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family’s ability to pay.
This fund was made possible through a legacy bequest from the estate of George William Higgs and Joan Smith, whose generosity and compassion will continue to transform lives for generations. Their dedication to making a meaningful difference is a lasting testament to their kindness and vision. CFAAC is honored to help their legacy live on, ensuring their impact endures for years to come.
