The Higgs-Smith Endowment Fund for Smile Train is a CFAAC Donor Advised Fund established in 2025 to support the mission of Smile Train, which is to provide free cleft surgery and comprehensive care to children in need around the world. Smile Train's goal is to create sustainable, locally-based healthcare systems that address the needs of patients with cleft lips and palates.
This fund was made possible through a legacy bequest from the estate of George William Higgs and Joan Smith, whose generosity and compassion will continue to transform lives for generations. Their dedication to making a meaningful difference is a lasting testament to their kindness and vision. CFAAC is honored to help their legacy live on, ensuring their impact endures for years to come.
