About the Fund
Collective Giving of Anne Arundel County (CGAACo) is a Giving Circle Fund at the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County, created to bring neighbors together to pool charitable contributions and make collective decisions about where grants can have the greatest impact. Established in 2025, CGAACo empowers residents to respond quickly and compassionately to urgent needs across our county.
The Collective Giving of Anne Arundel County is a multicultural and multigenerational circle of givers who believe generosity belongs to everyone. By working together, they support the essential, everyday needs that help individuals and families move forward with dignity.

Should you wish to make a non-cash donation, CFAAC accepts gifts of appreciated stock for the benefit of this fund. To initiate this transaction, contact your broker with the number of shares of each security you wish to give. All gifts of stocks and bonds which are “DTC Eligible” can be transferred to CFAAC using the information below:

Every member has a voice and a vote in our annual grantmaking process, ensuring that collective decisions truly reflect the community we serve. All contributions are fully tax‑deductible.
For memberships of $500 or more, a modest portion of your gift helps sustain the Giving Circle’s operational capacity and ensures we can respond to emerging needs. This support covers essential administrative services provided by the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC) and the cost that keeps our Giving Circle strong, transparent, and responsive.
By joining, you help strengthen the safety net for our community. Your membership funds organizations that deliver timely interventions—preventing job loss, maintaining family stability, and supporting health and wellness. These efforts make a powerful difference for ALICE families (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) who work hard yet struggle to make ends meet, as well as for other vulnerable neighbors across Anne Arundel County.
