COMMUNITY FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES AWARDEES FOR ITS 26th ANNUAL CELEBRATION OF PHILANTHROPY AWARDS
CFAAC’s luncheon event returns November 12 at LIVE! Casino & Hotel Maryland
(Annapolis, MD, August 25, 2026) Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC) is delighted to announce the seven recipients of the 2026 Celebration of Philanthropy Awards. Included in the list of superlative people, this year’s awardees range from a teenager who spent the past year running a neighborhood food pantry and mentoring younger kids, to a community icon who has spent five decades volunteering and being on the boards of some of Annapolis' best-known cultural institutions.
"These seven awardees represent something we are fortunate to see every day at the Community Foundation: people and organizations who show up for their neighbors, again and again," said John Rodenhausen, CFAAC president and CEO. "Their ongoing contributions of time, talent, and treasure strengthens this county in ways that outlast any single gift or event."
The awards will be presented Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 11 a.m. at LIVE! Casino & Hotel Maryland in Hanover, Maryland, during the Celebration of Philanthropy Awards Luncheon. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are now available for this event, which sold out in 2025. Find out more at cfaac.org/Celebration-
