April 28th marked the day of our founding 25 years ago! As we begin to celebrate CFAAC’s 25th anniversary, I’m excited to send you the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County’s 2022 Annual Report. I hope that as you take some time to read through this report, you will take pride in all we accomplished together last year, and feel enthusiastic about the hope that these accomplishments bring for our community over the next 25 years.

This report highlights CFAAC’s significant community impact in 2022 such as distributing 487 grants and 10 scholarships to more than 260 different organizations, granting nearly $4 million dollars in funding, and opening 12 new funds. We also have confirmed more than $75 million in assets that will come through future CFAAC Legacy Funds to support the important work of our dedicated nonprofits.

However, these numbers only tell a part of our story. This report also features CFAAC’s 25-year timeline that highlights our rich history, outlines our Always Anne Arundel plan that will help ensure our future growth, and shares intriguing stories about some of our generous donors and fundholders who have helped us make a difference.

We achieved so much last year. However, it is not our accomplishment alone. Your support is what continues to make our work in the community meaningful. We are so thankful for your generosity and belief in the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County.
