Thomas Perkins is the Director of Gift Planning at the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County, where he works with donors and their advisors to create meaningful, lasting legacies through planned gifts. Thomas joined CFAAC in 2026, bringing with him more than 15 years of nonprofit fundraising experience and deep expertise in gift planning and donor relations.

Before joining CFAAC, Thomas served as Associate Director of Planned Giving at Ocean Conservancy, where he helped donors align their values with enduring charitable impact. Most recently, he led customer success and product strategy at Giving Docs, supporting nonprofits across the country in growing their planned giving programs. In his role at CFAAC, Thomas serves as a trusted resource for donors and professional advisors navigating legacy giving options, helping to grow CFAAC's capacity to serve Anne Arundel County for generations to come.

Thomas holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) credential from the American College of Financial Services.

A proud Annapolis resident, Thomas lives with his wife, daughter, dog, and cat. He volunteers with Friends of Quiet Waters Park and enjoys fishing, hiking, and running.
