Hub Coordinator for Anne Arundel County Mental Health Agency

Marguerite (Marcie) Gibbons began working as a Hub Coordinator for the Anne Arundel County Mental Health Agency in 2024. Previously, Marcie was a clinical social worker at Archbishop Spalding High School and an adjunct faculty member at Anne Arundel Community College facilitating continuing education classes on mental health and wellness in the academic environment. She has a psychotherapy practice in providing psycho-social support for life transitions and resource coordination for individuals with life limiting illnesses and their loved ones. Marcie is also a National Trainer for Adult, Youth and Teen Mental Health First Aid.

Marcie was a member and spokesperson for the Youth Suicide Awareness Committee for Anne Arundel County, and a former long-term care committee member for the Mayor’s Health Policy Council, Washington D.C. She was the director for social worker services at The Washington Home and Hospice of Washington and has worked in home care, community, and acute care settings.

Marcie attended Beloit College and has a M.S.W. from the Catholic University School of Social Service. She resides in Annapolis.
