Independent Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for TriPointe Homes
Lawrence (Larry) B. Burrows currently serves as an Independent Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for TriPointe Homes, a national homebuilder. Larry is Trustee of Historic Annapolis, and Emeritus Member of the Dean’s Advisory Board at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, Rutgers University.
Previously, he served on the nonprofit boards of the Chesapeake Multi-Cultural Resource Center, HomeAid-Northern Virginia, and Habitat for Humanity-Seattle. Larry was a Senior President of Weyerhaeuser Wood Products and President and Chief Executive Officer of the Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Company. Before that, Larry served as President of Winchester Homes. Before joining Winchester Homes, he was a real estate consultant and developer.
Through their donor advised fund, Larry and his wife, Dawne, support many regional and local organizations with an emphasis on early childhood education and development, immigrant assimilation, affordable housing, as well as Anne Arundel County arts, Boys and Girls Clubs, shelters, and food banks.
Larry and Dawne live in Eastport and enjoy spending time with family, traveling, boating, and sponsoring Naval Academy Midshipmen.
