With more than 30 years of development experience, Kate has helped raise more than $80M for educational, cultural and civic organizations in the Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Annapolis areas.

Locally, Kate served as a campaign consultant through her company Caldwell & Associates for the Boys & Girls Club at Bates, the Harbour School, and St. Anne’s School of Annapolis. In addition to holding several development positions at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Johns Hopkins University, and Garrison Forest School, she has served as president of the Chesapeake Planned Giving Council and is a member of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council, giving presentations to local Boards and development staffs.

 From, including as2015-2018 she served as a Trustee of St. Anne’s School of Annapolis and from 2012 – 2018 served on the Board of the Job Opportunities Task Force in Baltimore. From 2017 - 2020 she served on the Development Committee of the Washington National Cathedral. Kate is currently the Assistant Secretary on CFAAC’s Board of Trustees. Her fundraising articles have been published in Planned Giving Today, and Fund Raising Management.

Kate holds a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and is certified as a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) through the American College. In addition, she holds a M.M. from Catholic University in Vocal Performance. Fluent in French, Kate is a member of Alliance Française and Cercle Français in Annapolis. Since 2008, she has been a member of the Anne Arundel County Women’s Giving Circle. Growing in Washington, D.C. and abroad, Kate has lived in Severna Park since 1989 with her husband and three (now adult) children.
