Karen is well-known for her devotion to community, family, and causes that improve lives. She has been a backbone at the Community Foundation for many years, with her passion to ensure that everyone, regardless of wealth status, has a place to make a difference. She is generous with her expertise and always willing to offer advice. As a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Karen concentrates on estates and trusts. She has worked with local estate experts and presented lectures and workshops in tandem with attorneys, the Register of Wills, and the Anne Arundel Estate Planning Council. She is currently a member of the Maryland Association of CPA’s, Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County Board Treasurer, Christ Child Society of Annapolis Treasurer, and is the co-founder and an emeritus executive committee member of AAEPC.
