Founder & Principal, GRIFF Strategic Leadership
Griff Hall is the principal at Griff Strategic Leadership (GSL), which he founded 17 years ago after serving as chief executive at three organizations. GSL helps organizations build capabilities and capacity in leadership and strategy and has served a diverse client base including Fortune 100 companies, university and educational institutions, military and defense agencies, and community non-profits. Griff has also been a faculty member at the Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business for more than 20 years, focusing on leadership and strategy.
A graduate of Leadership Anne Arundel, Griff has been heavily involved in the community leadership field for many years and currently facilitates community leadership retreats throughout the U.S. He was founding Board Chair of the Association for Leadership Programs in addition to holding Board positions. He has held numerous Board positions and previously served on the CFAAC Grants review committee. As a long-time volunteer, Griff particularly enjoys working with organizations that address inequities. He’s currently Board Chair at Bello Machre, an organization he’s volunteered with for many years.
Griff lives in Arnold with his wife, Susan, daughters Anicah and Sarah, and their dog Leila. They enjoy many water activities that include their myriad of self-propelled watercraft.
