Director of DEI, Cordish Gaming Group (Maryland LIVE! Casino Hotel)

Ed Evans joined the Cordish Gaming Group, Maryland LIVE! Casino Hotel, (LIVE!) team nearly a decade ago as Director of Culinary Operations and later transitioned his focus to leading the charge on Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Woman-owned MBE, and other minority vendor relationships along with legislative and regulatory priorities. Ed now is the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at LIVE! and leads the development and implementation of proactive DEI initiatives at Cordish Gaming Group. He serves as the lead representative for external community relations to promote Cordish Gaming Group’s DEI mission.

Ed serves on the board of The Y of Central Maryland, is a mentor for New Songs Community Learning Center and Men-for-Meade, and a volunteer for Hungry Hands and C.A.R.E. His list of accomplishments includes Founder of Hungry Hands Youth Culinary, 2017 LIVE! Casino Director of the Year, 2021 MWMCA Blk History Hero recipient, 2019 Food Network Chopped Finalist, and many other awards including 2019 AACM City Council Citation for Community work.

A native of Baltimore, Ed now resides in Severn, Maryland, with his wife Jacinda and his three daughters, Breiya, Gabrielle, and Giselle.
