The Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse Endowment Fund is a CFAAC Designated Fund, established in 2024 to provide income and long-term support for the operations and preservation of the Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse.
Built in 1875, the lighthouse remains an active beacon of navigation and continues to play an essential role in guiding vessels through the Chesapeake Bay. In 1999, it was designated as one of twelve Maritime National Historic Landmarks, recognizing its historical significance and enduring importance. This fund ensures the lighthouse's continued operation and protection for future generations.
