At the 2023 Celebration of Philanthropy, Nicole T. Livingston was among the four new members inducted into The Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County's 2023 Professional Advisor Recognition Society.

Colleagues say that Nicole’s knowledge and ability to explain complex matters in terms everyone understands are her strengths. As a partner at Council, Baradel, Kosmerl & Nolan, PA, Nicole concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, and elder law, focusing on special needs and advanced tax planning. She said the ease and flexibility to establish a Donor Advised Fund at CFAAC and incorporate the fund into a client’s estate plan are the main reasons she refers clients to CFAAC.

Nicole began her legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Michael E. Loney of Anne Arundel County Circuit Court. She is a member of the Estates & Trusts Section, Property Law Section, and Elder & Disability Sections of the Maryland State Bar Association, a Wealth Counsel member, and a National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys member. She presents estate planning, elder law, and special needs seminars throughout the county and is licensed to practice law in Maryland and DC. Prior to becoming an attorney, Nicole worked as a speech-language pathologist, mostly in skilled-nursing facilities, which complements her estate planning and elder law practices.
