About the Organization
A CFAAC Nonprofit Agency Designated Fund established by the established by the Banneker-Douglass-Tubman Museum to support its mission. As the State of Maryland’s official museum of African American heritage, the Banneker-Douglass-Tubman Museum serves to document, to interpret, and to promote African American history and culture (particularly in Maryland) through exhibitions, programs, and projects in order to improve the understanding and appreciation of America’s rich cultural diversity for all.
The Banneker-Douglass-Tubman Museum is operated by the Maryland Commission on African American History and Culture.
This designated fund was established during CFAAC's 25th Anniversary endowment initiative to help nonprofits create a lasting endowment for perpetual support of their mission. Your donation will help this nonprofit reach the $25,000 threshold required for endowment, allowing them to receive annual distributions to their operating budget in perpetuity.
