Endowment Building Refresh: Reaching Your Goal!
September 17 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Endowments can help your organization be less vulnerable to funding shifts and turnover, but organizations can struggle with capacity, donor pipelines, and board buy-in to the concept. This workshop addresses those barriers and offers support for building sustainable endowment strategies.
This workshop is about action. After an endowment basics refresh, participants will join up to two small group tactical planning sessions focused on:
- Promoting Your Endowment: Crafting and communicating a compelling case for legacy giving.
- Building a Donor Pipeline: Identifying and cultivating the donors most likely to support long-term sustainability efforts.
- Endowment Growth in Smaller Organizations: Practical, low-cost frameworks that do not require dedicated planned giving staff.
Workshop Trainers:
- Barb Kappel, Non-Profit Advisor and Fundraising Coach
- Elizabeth Somerset, Development Director, Fort Meade Alliance Foundation
- John Rodenhausen, President & CEO, Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County
Registration is limited to 30 participants. Materials and light refreshments will be available.
