Adult Mental Health First Aid Training Course (Virtual)
September 8 @ 5:30 am - 8:30 pm
$25
This course teaches participants how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in adults. You will gain the skills needed to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to appropriate care.
Given the volume of content, the course is delivered in two parts. Self-paced course materials are distributed ahead of time for participants to review before the group training begins, followed by two 3-hour virtual instruction sessions held over two weeks.
Registration is limited, and spots are expected to fill quickly, so early sign-up is encouraged. The course costs $25 per person, including materials and a certificate of completion from the Anne Arundel County Department of Mental Health.
You must sign up by September 1, 2026, to participate in this training.
