Hosted by CFAAC, the Nonprofit Center, and ACDS, the FY27 Grant Application Training Series is a two-part program designed to help nonprofits in Anne Arundel County strengthen their grant applications and increase their chances of securing funding. Featuring guidance from grant reviewers, practical tips, and opportunities to explore what makes an application competitive, the series provides both an overview of available grant programs and a deeper dive into what makes proposals stand out.

This 120-minute in-person workshop will guide participants through real-world examples of project narratives and budgets, giving them an inside look at what grantors consider during the review process. Attendees will learn how to recognize strong versus weak applications, conduct an environmental scan, write clear goals and measurable outcomes, and create a program budget that aligns with grantor requirements.
By the end of this session, participants will leave with practical tools and strategies to strengthen their applications and increase their competitiveness in the grant review process.
