About the Organization

The Brendan Sailing Endowment Fund is a CFAAC Nonprofit Agency Endowed Fund, established in 2025 by Brendan Sailing. The purpose of the fund is to support Brendan Sailing’s mission: to build pathways for self-confidence and personal growth in children with learning differences through individually tailored, experiential sailing instruction.

Brendan Sailing: Empowering Youth with Learning Differences Through the Freedom of the Water

Brendan Sailing is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building confidence, independence, and life skills in youth with learning differences through hands-on sailing education. Founded on the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, Brendan Sailing provides adaptive instruction tailored to meet the needs of students with dyslexia, ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and other learning differences.

Through our signature Brendan Approach — a specialized method developed to teach sailing to youth with diverse learning styles — participants gain not only practical sailing skills but also a profound sense of belonging and personal growth. Our programs emphasize trust, teamwork, and resilience, helping young people discover their strengths both on and off the water.
