Harbour House in Eastport may get food pantry by summer

Eastport is one of seven food deserts in Anne Arundel County, along with Glen Burnie, Brooklyn Park, Linthicum Heights, Fort Meade, Jessup and Severn, according to the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County, a civic organization. Food deserts are defined by the Department of Agriculture as areas without ready access to fresh, healthy and affordable food.
