A Message From our President & CEO

We are down to the wire! Our Celebration of Philanthropy Awards Luncheon is only a few weeks away, taking place on Wednesday, October 30. Please consider joining us as we celebrate these inspiring and amazing people and organizations who do so much for our community at LIVE! Casino Hotel® Maryland. Information about tickets and sponsorships for this wonderful program is in this newsletter and on our website.

Speaking of our website, we are thrilled to say that we are launching our new website this month! CFAAC’s Marketing and Communications Manager, Ashley Robison St. Clair, did the lion’s share of the work on this project with staff help along the way. We are proud of her thoughtful work with our website designer. It took a lot of patience and a lot of labor to make sure everything works. Be sure to check it out later this month!

Fall is here and the end of the year when many of us think about charitable giving is approaching. Why not make your philanthropic gifts early this year to avoid the rush of holiday time? We are also happy to schedule time to work with you, or you and your financial advisor if you want to discuss establishing your own charitable fund, explore local nonprofits who are in need of your support, or need help firming up your philanthropic legacy intentions.
