Andrea Beegle describes herself as “a financial advisor with a nonprofit heart.” The Anne Arundel County native graduated from Arundel High School then traveled west to pursue a Division I Lacrosse scholarship at the University of California, Berkley, where she graduated cum laude in Mass Communications. With a strong desire to make an impact, Andrea returned east and launched a 15-year career in non-profit management, working at various DC-based organizations including National Geographic, the United Nations Foundation, the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, and ultimately starting a 501c3 focused on maternal and early childhood nutrition. Andrea’s expertise is at the intersection of philanthropy, marketing, communications, advocacy, and entrepreneurship. She has raised millions of dollars for causes; mobilized hundreds of thousands of supporters around issues of health, sustainable development, and social justice; and managed partnerships with celebrities, media, Fortune 500s, civil society, governments, and other unlikely bedfellows.

In 2019, Andrea became a financial advisor, working beside her life-long mentor (and father), at Compass Wealth Strategies in Edgewater, MD. Andrea works with families and businesses to develop financial plans toward their goals and is particularly interested in sustainable investing – helping to align clients’ financial investments with the change they wish to see in the world. 

Andrea married her childhood best friend, Chris, and together they are honored to be raising the fourth generation in Anne Arundel County – her daughters, and son.
