August is National “Make a Will” Month!
Do you have a will? Research tells us that less than half of Americans do. If you don’t have your own will or estate plan, the state of Maryland has one for you and it may not match your wishes or assumptions.
Join Rosemary Calderalo, Ph.D., CFAAC’s Director of Gift Planning, for a Virtual Lunch & Learn Presentation and how to get started in your planning and learn how you can also make provisions for charities in your will or estate plan.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Rosemary Calderalo, PhD
Director of Gift Planning, Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County
Rosemary has nearly 30 years' experience in the nonprofit sector in fundraising, donor support, programs and executive leadership. In her current role, she engages advisors, their clients and Foundation donors in philanthropic planning on topics ranging from tax strategies to multi-generational conversations and planned giving. Rosemary has found that regardless of scope of wealth, people often do not believe their lives have made or can make a difference; she enjoys helping her clients see that they can do just that, and that their dreams for the world can come true through the power of their charitable giving. She has served in leadership positions with the Boys & Girls Club of America, Baltimore Community Foundation, Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake, United Way’s 2-1-1 in the Hudson Valley and the American Red Cross in New York and Connecticut. Rosemary holds a doctorate in Adult Education and Women’s Studies from Syracuse University.
