John was educated in the Catholic tradition at St. Bernadette’s Elementary School in Silver Spring with the Franciscan Sisters and graduated from St. John’s College High School in 1966 - which laid a strong foundation that contributed to his success. John earned a degree in business and economics from the University of Tampa, and has been married to his college sweetheart, Jan for 45 years.
