Manager, Grants & Scholarships

Trecia is responsible for the management of CFAAC’s grants processing functions including grants made through the Fund for Anne Arundel, Grants 4 Teachers, Help Our Neighbors, and Strengthening Nonprofits, along with supporting our fund advisors as they make grant recommendations from their funds. Additionally, Trecia is the staff liaison to Anne Arundel Women Giving Together, a 200+ member giving circle that was launched by CFAAC 12 years ago. She works with area nonprofits to learn about their programs and services so that she can direct them to appropriate funding opportunities as well as bring appropriate nonprofits to the attention of CFAAC fund advisors. Trecia also manages CFAAC’s memorial scholarship programs – Herzberg-Wild, Officer Grant Turner, William Bunn Chaney, and Capital Gazette.

Trecia brings 10+ years of experience to CFAAC in the areas of donor services, administration, and finance and accounting. She is a graduate of Ashworth College in Norcross, GA with an Associate of Arts in General Studies. For seven years, Trecia served as the Endowment, Senior Donor Relations Specialist at the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington. There she managed their endowment portfolio of stocks and bonds, processed gifts into endowment funds, and supported fund advisors as they made grant recommendations from their Donor Advised Funds. In addition, she managed their Spring Cycle grants and supported operational and financial projects, among other duties. Formerly, she was the Financial Planning Assistant at the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration managing multiple aspects of grant administration. Trecia joined CFAAC full-time in January 2019.
