Rising Leaders: The Science and Art of Time and Energy Managment

Join your fellow Rising Leaders for a second conversation with Rebecca Cisek, Senior Director, Talent and Organizational Development for the Bainum Family Foundation.

You love the work you do, yet you are so busy putting out fires that you rarely have time to reflect, plan or focus on the important items within your role. And you feel the impact, both personally and professionally. How can you “find” more time when there are only 24 hours in the day?

This session will help you learn how to intentionally maximize not just your time, but also your energy and resources to enhance your work-life integration and overall productivity. We’ll look at the science and art of time and energy management, including: prioritization, removing time wasters, planning, procrastination, and using technology to get organized. You will walk away with recommendations on tools and routines to enhance your personal and professional productivity, helping you once again maximize your ability to drive optimal, sustainable outcomes for the communities you serve.

Key Take-Aways:

  • Understand how you can replenish and efficiently spend your energy.
  • How to prioritize your most important work items, and how you can communicate those priorities to others to stay on track.
  • How to utilize organizational tools and routines to create and sustain efficient personal practices that enhance time and energy use.

This program is open to all ABAG members only. Breakfast will be provided and served at 8:30 am; the program will begin at 9:00 am!

Due to the interactive nature of this workshop, remote participation is not available.
