The session will address “managing up,” competing priorities, the true value of stewardship, and the driving force behind such a gift.

  • 2nd Educational Session - “Operating a nonprofit in a changing world”- With an introduction from Dave Hartman, President of Hartman Executive Advisors, this interactive discussion with Mark A. Riccobono, President of the National Federation of the Blind (NFB), and George Breeden, Managing Director, Nonprofit Practice of Hartman Executive Advisors, will explore NFB’s journey and how they are adapting their operations in order to be responsive to an ever-changing and competitive landscape. The presenters will discuss changes in the workforce and how organizations can leverage technology to raise funds, keep up with modern expectations, and coordinate their data systems - all in the interest of pursuing their missions.

  • 3rd Educational Session - “The compounding power of monthly donors - how to grow your sustainer program” - Monthly donors play a critical role in an organization’s Annual Giving program. This session, led by Jason Freeman, Annual Giving Campaign Specialist at Catholic Relief Services and Alicen McCarrick, Charitable Giving Analytics Manager at Catholic Relief Services, will explore the importance of a strong recurring giving program, discuss best practices, and share lessons learned from CRS’ sustainer program.
