David Mitchell

Community Volunteer, Walk the Walk Foundation

David grew up in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. He moved to Anne Arundel County in 1989.  He and his wife, Kim, have four adult children and one grandchild.

David and Kim are founders of Walk the Walk Foundation (WTW).  WTW supports children and their families who cannot afford some of life's basic needs. Each year WTW also provides school supplies and Christmas gifts to two thousand children in Anne Arundel County.  WTW is also the only diaper bank in Anne Arundel County, providing diapers and other baby products to emergency diaper pantries.

David is an active member at Bay Area Community Church and is also on the board at Annapolis Area Christian School.  David has been on the board of CFAAC since 2017.
